”It’s a really cute place to stay. Beautiful views and garden with a lovely canal side walk nearby. Nicely designed inside and Steve, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer.”

”The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. ”

”This was the perfect accommodation for our annual Christmas family get together. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard, making for a very comfortable stay. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms is wonderful! We hope to stay again.”

”Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.”

”Ramblers cottage is spotlessly clean and comfortable, homely and well equipped with everything you need. Modern but with bags of character and we loved little Jess popping in to visit! Family were lovely and helpful Perfectly placed for local area and lovely walks right on your doorstep. Recommend The Square and Compass at Darley Bridge if you need a dog friendly pub with great food.
