”A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". ”Our room was large and clean with space to spread out our luggage without being in the way. The bathroom had a little closet feature to hang wet clothes and store toiletries. We got upgraded to an ocean view room, so we could hear the waves although there was a hedge in the way so we couldn’t see the ocean from our bed, but that’s not an issue. There was a bus stop within walking distance and we were able to store our luggage on check-in day when we arrived earlier than check-in time. The front...

”Stayed here last year and was excellent! This year was not quite as good. Did not get the room we thought we booked. When a description says deluxe ocean view, you think you are getting on the ocean or 1-2 rooms down side of building.from ocean. Our room was 4 from the ocean and on 2nd floor directly above the pool so could not hear waves but heard the water regenerating from the pool. I think that should be better described in the room description. Also, the hotel is under renovation so even...

”Was a first time in Maui and in this hotel. Got an upgrade to a studio with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was awesome and super clean and comfortable! All the neccessary kitchen supplies to make breakfast, lunch ot whatever. Microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer. The bed was excellent to sleep in. You can rent dvd's and playstation games at the lobby with no charge, nice thing to do in the evening. Also free of charge tennis outside. The hotel pool area is beautiful with one big...
