The room servicing was poor. The first day our room was not cleaned at all! Not even the evening service arrived to turn down the bed that was never made. they came next morning and when we got back from the beach I had to complain about the lack of large bath towels which had not been replaced nor the bath mats. Only one toilet roll instead of two and the box of tissues was empty. the towels arrived just as we were going out having already had our showers. The mattress was a bit saggy not the best quality.
We paid extra 470$US a day for a Butler as I have mobility issues and cannot walk too far. We were never told that there were no buggies and the Butler couldn't drive the few that could have been available. We never got the afternoon snacks we were promised and when I asked the Butler why, she said that we were asleep when they were delivered. Surely they could have been delivered at a different time. A lot of people have an afternoon siesta especially at our age!! We stayed at Sandals in St. Vincent and we had snacks delivered twice a day. I have to say I found our Lady Butler verging on unpleasant.
On the whole the food was good apart from Kimono where the food was not so great. The chef did not put on the usual show and the chicken small dry inedible pieces. Lunch at Neptune was really not good at all. The Linguini was way over cooked and soggy and my Bresaola pannini was pastrami. Soy, Bombay and La Parisienne were excellent. We did not have time to sample Butches.
