”The location of coral cove is stunning, directly on the beach which is combed every day and lined with palm trees, just beautiful. Free kayak and bike hire is a great bonus, which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a bit basic and the only vegan breakfast option was fruit, but overall we loved our stay here and would definitely come back. ”

”My family and I stayed at Seiri Del Mar, and we just left this place!! we’re visiting Hopkins. We usually stay at another place nearby, but they were booked up so we gave this resort a try. ”We stayed at Mariposa when we arrived to Placencia and the last night before we returned home and it was perfect. Gladis was very welcoming at the reception, Donny was amazing at the restaurant and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bungalow was perfect for our family of 4, since they have bunk beds. The restaurant was good with a nice view of the ocean. They have nice swings, volleyball court, paddle boards and bicycles which is perfect to go in town. It’s less than 5 minutes...

”We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great. And the screened in porch was really wonderful to hang out on. It's also in a great location for wandering around the village. ”

”After we arrived we straight bookend third night. Could stay longer! Whole Hopkins area were nice, good restaurants and friendly helpful people there. It’s safety to hitchhike there. Very nice people at the hostel too, nice shared areas. Easy to get to Cockscomb in the jungle to maybe see some jaguars. No AC at rooms so that’s something you need to get along without.”
