Lovely grounds and a beautiful building. A bit spaced out like a Vegas hotel experience. The spa, pool and gym were very good. But the wellness center is hard to find unless you go outside the building. We spent six nights here and issues at every breakfast. One time they ran out of teaspoons and took nearly 10 minutes to get us one. Another time they were out of plates. Several times they brought other peoplesâ hot food to our table. We had one dinner and that didnât go smoothly either. Took fifteen minutes to get a glass of prosecco. Waiters at one point getting angry with each other in French close to our table. And, when our chowder that we were sharing arrived it came without spoons. We shared a hamburger and that arrived uncut and without any cutlery. Also, the phone in the room didnât work. I mentioned this to reception and they said maintenance would handle the next morning. They did not and I had to follow up. Overall, very disappointing for a hotel of this class.
