”They were not sensitive to those who work out in the a.m. because the fitness center was opened at 10 and checkout is 11 had to remind the staff that the Fitness room was not open. They said give me 10 minutes that put us at 10:15 and it was just a little too late too. Do what needed to be done morning staff member was informed of an issue and he did not solve the problem or act like he wanted to. Check-in staff was awesome. ”The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

”The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area.
