”I stayed here with my 11 year old twins. The hosts were so accommodating and even provided a twin mattress for us. They also gave us great restaurant suggestions which really helped since there really is nothing close by. Having coffee and a few snacks was also a very nice touch. Loved the screen porch and play area too. We will be back again. ”

”The deck overlooking the creek and spillway added so much enjoyment! It made for a beautiful way to start and end the day. Our kids enjoyed fishing, finding crayfish and clambering around the rocks in the creek. We all liked the modern farmhouse feel and style of the interior of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom fans were helpful as it was a hot weekend. Checkout and check-in were easy. We loved our time here! ”

”My siblings and I were there from Missouri for my father’s Celebration of Life. The Dan River property was just what the doctor ordered: peaceful and serene. The property is a perfect private hideaway with room to move and think. The home housed myself and my five siblings comfortably…very homey with loads of charm and character. I hope this property is available every time I plan to visit the Ararat area!”
