"Stayed for a week in a single deluxe room with a balcony towards the main street(in the "new" building). A lot of noise through out the night from returning party people, so bring earplugs! The room was tidy and clean. The bed was not so comfortable, there was some sort of waterproof layer between the sheet, made you sweat like crazy. But all in all, it was a nice room. The hotel personnel and restaurant staff was very nice and friendly. The spa is also quite good, nothing spectacular, some steam saunas didn't work but the Finnish sauna was good and there was a nice pool to cool down in. Breakfast and dinner, I don't understand at all how so many people praise the food? Are you not used to normal or quality restaurants at all? The food was eatable but nothing more. This needs improvement! I can recommend going with the ski guide Stocky, he has a nice sense of humor and knows the valley inside and out and you get to visit better areas than Penken with door to door transport! Important to note, they leave at 9:00 from the hotel and return 15:45."
