”Having just spent two nights at this wonderful hotel I can easily understand why just about every review here is 10 out o10. This is a fantastic almost perfect hotel. The owners, a sweet young married couple, are clearly utterly devoted to this hotel and every touch has their signature. The stay was perfect, the room wonderful, cozy and comfortable and they cannot do enough for you. 11 out of 10!”

”We loved staying here. It was a treat to stay in such a historic building. The hosts were wonderful, so warm and kind. We stayed in the very top suite (l’oisellerie) which involved a lot of stairs, but it was quiet and atmospheric. The bed was amazing, and the continental breakfast with little crepes was very nice. There are excellent restaurants just down the street, and all of the sights are a very short walk away. ”

”The entire team at Markus were fantastic, very supportive and accommodating to all needs. The Markus is centrally located, close to the train station and easy to get around. If our travels take us back through Angers we'll be looking to book here again.”

”Charming place to stay- quiet and in a beautiful countryside location. Lovely hosts. We were welcomed with a refreshing glass of white wine. The host recommended a fantastic local restaurant called ‘La Guinguette a Jojo’ Delicious breakfast. ”

”We stayed for a quick night stop half way through France. We picked this place because looked interesting and glad we did. Place was amazing. It was different than boring hotel rooms. It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here”
