”We loved the Ecolodge de Simal. It's really off the beaten track (quite literally so), but once you get there, the location is wonderful: right on the water. We were there for three nights. The food was plentiful, fresh, and tasty; the free activities (like a excursion en pirogue) was wonderful; the pool is chlorinated and clean; the rooms are rustic with open air bathrooms and toilets, but comfortable; the housekeeping good; the bar/restaurant staff friendly. It's not a "luxury"...

”the local staff of the hotel is very helpful and we felt like home when we stayed here. Only minus is that they spoke very little english and the owners weren't too happy about our inability to speak french either. Still, Overall very great little guesthouse and we would recommend it without a doubt. Rooms are clean and the food is fresh everyday!”

”Cette villa est très bien construite juate en face de la mer. Les chambres en baies vitrées donne direct sur la mer. On dors avec la brise de mer qui vient jusqu’à nous. Le séjour s’est très bien passé et les habitants du village sont très gentil. Je recommande vivement!”

”I had 1 night and 1 day as transit in Dakar, so I was searching for a place where I can chill, and I don’t regret my choice at all ! I took this hotel cause it had a spa, and when I arrived, they upgraded me and I got a jacuzzi in my room! fantastic! the terasse opens on the beautiful pool, the breakfast was very nice, and the staff super welcoming and smiling. Moreover, they let me check out at 15:00 instead of 12:00 so it shows me that they really want to male their customers happy. I got the...

"Kaunis paikka lähellä rantaa, hieno maisema. Hyvä kävellä molempiin suuntiin rannalla. Hiljainen alue. Hotellin piha- alue kaunis istutuksineen ja pieni uima- allas. Ravintolassa ruokaa ja juomia. Palveleva henkilökunta, osa puhuu englantia. Aamiainen riittävä. Huone pienehkö sekä wc/pesutilat myös. Lämmintä vettä tuli suihkusta. Pihalla pystyi grillaamaan omia ruokiakin. Vähän matkaa keskustaan. Rauhallinen rentoutumispaikka, joten lisäsimme öitä. "
