”Clean comfortable room. Shared kitchen facilities but well appointed with plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment. Rooms on the main road side can be noisy once the traffic starts building up in the morning ”

”Nice unit with kitchen and seperate toilet and shower rooms. Room was cleaned daily and appeared neat and clean. Temperature was good. Reception gave us good advice and help with sights, bookings etc. and a bottle of milk. Courtyard had a small pool. Free parking in fron of room. Location is good, if you want to go to the beach or to Abel Tasman National Park (shuttle pick up direcly in front of the motel). But it is quite far from the Nelson city center. Views from the windows are nothing...

He was always happy, friendly and chatty, greeting me by my name every time he saw me. The room was spotlessly clean, kitchen had everything you could need and the towels were changed each day. ”

”Located about 15 minutes walk out of town, at a peaceful harbour with many sailing/motor boats to admire. The spacious room and shower room allowed us a perfect, peaceful night of rest. Restaurants were found immediately next door, in the town or 15 mins walk along the coast. The continental breakfast was plentiful and varied. Don't be surprised on your arrival to find that you drive through an industrial estate to reach the lodge, it in no way disturbed the perfect stay we had.”

”Comfortable and practical motel in Nelson. We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit with a kitchenette suitably equipped for cooking basic meals (hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, crockery and cutlery, utensils, etc). Spacious unit - with easy chairs as well as a table and dining chairs. Everything was clean. Parking right outside. Very nice and friendly young couple running the place. We used the laundry facilities and drying lines and could have had a dip in the pool. It's fairly close to the...

”Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Great shower. Good communication beforehand and during my stay. Nice smelling soap, shampoo and conditioner. Great location for airport and beach and only a few mins drive into Nelson town centre. Owner helped me by carrying my bags upstairs, really kind of him. As single female traveller, I felt safe and secure at the hotel. Useful supermarket style shop across road opposite hotel. Busy road but room was quiet. Slept really well. ”
