Situated right on Fightingtown Creek, this pet-friendly log cabin seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Three bedrooms and baths offer a variety of accommodations. Lounge under vaulted wood beams by the stone gas fireplace, play in the game room with a pool table and basketball, and gather at the live-edge table for 6–8. Outside, soak in the hot tub, roast s’mores at the firepit, and wander steps to the creek— 20 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge for dining, hikes, orchards, and the Scenic Railway.











Living Areas 



Step into the main level, where vaulted ceilings, warm wood beams, and a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace set the mood of the mountains. A comfy sofa set frames the hearth for movie nights, morning coffee, or listening to the creek roll by through the windows.



Downstairs, the game room brings the fun: rack ’em up on the pool table, shoot hoops on the basketball game, or kick back in the TV/sitting area between rounds. With a full bath on this level, everyone can play, clean up, and keep the good times rolling.

The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking feel effortless, with all major appliances, ample counter space, and cabinets stocked with essentials for everyday meals and celebratory spreads. Whether you’re whipping up pancakes or prepping farm-stand finds, everything you need is close at hand.

The main-level king suite promises a restful night’s sleep and includes an ensuite bath with a double vanity—ideal for unhurried mornings. Upstairs, A King bedroom with a private bathroom 



On the lower level, a bedroom with a double bunk sits near the game room, giving night owls their own hangout zone. With three full baths total—one on each level—everyone enjoys space and privacy.







Outdoor Amenities 



Follow the steps down to the water for creekside magic, or claim a spot at the firepit to toast s’mores under the stars while the current provides the soundtrack. The outdoor hot tub overlooks the creek—perfect after a waterfall hike or a day on Lake Blue Ridge.



The covered porch was made for lounging and lingering: Adirondack chairs for lazy afternoons, a dining table for 6 for al fresco dinners, and a gas grill ready for your favorite veggies and kebabs—all with the steady hush of Fightingtown Creek below.

Stay comfortable with central heating and air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, and TVs in the living room and two bedrooms. A washer/dryer makes packing for adventures lighter. Streaming-friendly, pet-friendly, memory-friendly.



 



DOGS ONLY Guests are responsible for any damages that result from pets. No pets on furniture or in hot tub. Any delays in housekeeping because of pet hair on furniture, Guests agree to pay an additional housekeeping fee of a minimum of $25 with a maximum of $250.00 . Any pet hair found in hot tub or filter will result in a minimum charge of $100. This fee is non refundable.



FightingTown Escape is a tastefully appointed 3-bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin that sleeps up to six (6) and offers the following:

A steep driveway, avoid low-profile cars that are prone to scraping their undercarriages, and opt for vehicles with higher ground clearance



All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following, unless otherwise stated in the listing:







Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, two bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth per person listed on the guest list. Dresser or closet for clothing storage. Central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum, and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), one roll of paper towels, four kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent for at least two loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
