High on Massanutten Resort, Kettle View Lodge is a 5BR/4BA mountain retreat with sweeping, year-round views and two expansive decks—perfect for sunrise coffee and spotting wildlife. Inside, spread out across a main-level living/dining/kitchen with one-step entry and a large lower-level family/game room.

This was a family trip with our children and grandchildren to go to the water park and snow tubing. We all just loved the house! The host family was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay, and the house was very welcoming with a lot of fun games, pool table, and ping pong available to us. The back decks provided gorgeous views of the ski slopes and mountains, and we enjoyed the fire pit as well. We will definitely look forward to a future stay!

Our extended family had a lovely stay! The property was super family-friendly, well-stocked with games, books, and movies and the game tables were a big hit. The deck views are gorgeous. Wish it had been warmer to enjoy them more! The hosts were very kind and responsive and we look forward to visiting again.

Great for families!

We stayed with my extended family—including my parents, five kids, and their spouses—with children ranging in age from 18 months to 10 years. The house was very comfortable, and the kids especially loved the bunk room. It was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The deck and views were amazing. Highly recommend!

Perfect holiday getaway

We stayed with our 30 something kids and three grandchildren under the age of three. It was the perfect bedroom arrangement for everyone. The view was spectacular, and the property owners could not have been more gracious and helpful and responsive! Highly recommend!

The house certainly met all our needs. Sitting on the back you could see the ski slopes. They were making snow and several deer were grazing behind the house.

Beautiful views, relaxing stay, accommodating host!

April's place was perfect! My friends and I are JMU alumni that wanted to return to the area for the weekend. The house had a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of beds for all of us. We enjoyed the porches and the views especially. We would definitely stay again!

Family Friends Trip

Three families with 6 adults and 7 kids stayed at the house for four nights. It was everything we needed and wanted. The bunk room is huge with a common space beside it for movie watching. The main level is spacious but not massive so it gives a comfortable cozy feeling. The view is unbeatable! The hosts were so friendly, quick to respond and helpful. The driveway is big enough to park cars side by side and they don’t bottom out like so many mountain side driveways. We would definitely come back if we ever wanted to explore Shenandoah Park or JMU again.

Making memories in Massanuttin

We did a family vacation at Kettle View Lodge. 7 adults and 4 children between 2 & 6. The home was lovely, the views were spectacular and our hosts were quick to respond with any question or needs. The resort in itself has a lot to offer but we had plenty to do at the house with the game room and decks. Highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to the atea

Fabulous mountain getaway…

This house was one of our all time favorites. The house was spotless and the views were breathtaking -situated at the top of the mountain with a panoramic view of the valley. The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated that sheets and towels were included. The location was ideal-tons of restaurants and activities nearby … in fact ski lift, mini golf, and swimming were in walking distant at the bottom of the hill. The pool table and ping pong table were a huge hit with our kids, and the gas fire pit was a favorite spot for my family to hang out. The host, April, was wonderful and very responsive to any questions. We loved every second of our stay in this beautiful home and will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful home with breath taking views

We had an incredible time at the kettle view lodge! The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a great trip. There’s so much to do in the house you don’t even need to leave to have a great time! If you want more adventure the home is located within massanutten so there is easy access to activities. We enjoyed being able to hear the concerts from the deck in the evenings. Being on a resort you are not completely secluded, but this wasn’t an issue for us and we wanted the convenience of being close to activities and we had quiet neighbors. We loved our stay here and hope to return!

Our Weekend Getaway at Kettlelodge!

What an amazing weekend we had at this gorgeous cabin at Massanutten Resort!! The location of the home was perfect and the views from the top deck were breathtaking. The cleanliness of the home when we arrived was very noticeable and April was so easy to work with from the moment we booked the cabin. The activities in the cabin were enjoyed by all ages in our group and the space was more than enough for our small group of 6. We absolutely plan to come back with our extended family since it fits up to 14 people. Plenty of nearby activities and restaurants if you want to leave the cabin for a few hours but we enjoyed staying in most of the weekend and enjoying the ping pong table and billiards table. 10/10 would recommend for your next mountain vacation!! (My 2.5 year old thoroughly enjoyed himself!!)

The views from the family room and back decks are second to none. The sunrise is great! And the hosts April and Paul are so responsive and caring. I really enjoyed the stay here. I would highly recommend.
