We booked Emily and Ryan's 7 bedroom Wine Country Home in McMinnville for my wife’s birthday celebration (Judypalooza"), with three other couples. The check-in process was easy with a coded door lock and we were all immediately impressed by the fantastic renovated interior.
The living room was extremely comfortable and perfect for our group's morning coffee. Every couple had a modern bedroom and bathroom with total comfort and plenty of lighting, not to mention outlets and windows. The kitchen is modern and very functional for cooks and observers. We had breakfast for 8 daily in the beautiful dining room. The walls are home to original artwork that blows away the traditional pastel prints in many VRBOs.
My wife and I have stayed at a variety of VRBOs and related rental homes across the US. Emily and Ryan's McMinnville home is our favorite by far. Downtown McMinnville is a 5-10 min walk to wine tastings, wine bars, shops, Alchemist's Jam Bakery as well as great restaurants incl Bistro Maison (French), La Rambla (Spanish, and Thistle (American Bistro).
Our daily happy hour was a treat on the rear patio that included comfortable seating for everyone, along with a gas fireplace, all under a roof which came in handy for afternoon rains. There is plenty of parking behind and to the side of the house. Overall, our group enjoyed our "Judypalooza" stay at Emily and Ryan's home. Truly a 5 star plus rating!!
