”Overwhelming musty smell upon arrival. Mold in the bathroom. VRBO Care only kicks in once you speak to someone on the phone, we ended up booking a hotel stay instead because the smell was too much for my lungs, I was coughing uncontrollably despite staying outside as long as possible. Host initially responsive to our problem but no solutions (probably AI assistance for immediate responses). After 2 hours of seeking help from the host and VRBO Customer Service, we left, did not stay the night. 18...

”We loved the apartment and also loved that we could store our luggage in a holding room while we explored the town. The apartment was adorable, clean and shops were close by! We also loved our quiet street. It would’ve been nice to have air conditioning, but thankfully the weather cooled down in the evenings.”

”Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, geräumig und an einem guten Standort gelegen. Leider wurde in der Beschreibung ein Pool erwähnt, vor Ort stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass damit das kostenpflichtige Hallenbad der Gemeinde gemeint war. Das fanden wir etwas irreführend und sehr schade! In der Küche fehlten einige wichtige Utensilien, beispielsweise eine grosse Bratpfanne und mehr Schöpfbesteck. Als Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre es hilfreich, die Art der Kaffeemaschine in der Beschreibung anzugeben....

”This location is a bus ride From the center of Lucerne. Not terrible but keep it in mind if you have luggage. It is close to the bottom of the Pilatus lift, so that’s an advantage. Room is quite small. Shared kitchen, bathroom and common space. Private shower. Overall it was good and worth the price”

”We liked the accomodation - a private room with the table and shower, a big convenient shared dining area and well equipped kitchen. The apartment is only 15 minutes by bus from the centre of Lucerne, in the quiet area. The big supermarket is close by.Will recommend.”

”We had a great short stay. The room was small but clean. The room was very hot which is not ideal for sleeping, they did however keep the common room cool. They host was very responsive and responded quickly to answer any questions. We did enjoy our stay”
