”I cannot say enough about this property! Check in was different, yet super smooth! The location was great! So many options for food and drink. Live music at just about all of the local spots. Totally walkable! Beach is also walkable, small beach, but quiet and very pretty. The property was adorable! The rooms are so unique! Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was super cozy, and the decor was so much fun! This will be our regular go to spot from now on! ”

”Fabulous stay in The Cottage suite. It is a stand alone suite, just like a charming little cottage. Super clean & charming. Whilst it is not elegant & fancy, it has a quaint & wonderful vibe. Comfy king bed with nice linens. The walls are a bit thin so we did hear some of the goings on close by. But all music & noise was done by 9 pm. I suspect there might be a noise bylaw in Dunedin. Everything was within an easy walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here & will be back! ”

”We absolutely loved staying at the Driftwood Inn. We loved the cottage and the amenities. Everything is brand new and immaculate. The beds are very comfortable, and the pull out bed is even comfortable. That never happens! The beach is a short walk and so many restaurants near by. We will definitely be staying again. My only suggestion is for people that are not familiar with No-serums, they can be bad. Possibly provide a small bug spray for them in the nice goody bag you left for us. if they...

”Even if on the map it looks to situate in remote area, it is very close to city center. The place is easy to find. Reception was extremely friendly and breakfast was a bit better than average. One negative comment: they shut down the power daily in the area from 7 to 8 pm for saving the planet, so you will sit in the dark...which is a bit strange. But it was a good place to stay!”

"The pictures did not match our hotel room at least. The bathroom had a toilet bowl and a bathtub. The washing up hand was done in the hallway. The shower had cold water. The room itself was ok, with a great view of the sea and the pool."
