”I was travelling with a friend in several islands in Fiji, starting with Funky Fish. We loved it here, the staff is very kind and the food is really good. Especially we loved all local fish dished like Kokoma. We hade a trip tp Cloud 9 - was so much fun! We hiked around the island and just chilled, this period was little rainy and not much other visitors so excellent time for nice quiet holiday. ”

”awful experience. about 90% of the Island is closed because of tv series shooting. it's been closed for 4 months already and will be atleast for another 2months. u have only 1 beach wich is dirty and there is broken glass here and there. the hotel manager did Nothing to make our stay better. he promised free dinner for us but when we tried to get it he said he wouldn't give cause he changed his mind. first room we had was family bungalow and at night it was full of grasshoppers. we complained...

”This place was very disappointing. It has the air of a place going out of business. The staff didn't seem to care about the condition of it, and there was a charge for absolutely everything. For a surf camp it was surprising that there was no beach or area to surf by the property. They also didn't seem to be keen to teach surfing it's only for established surfers, which then have to pay $50 a day to surf. The property itself was the biggest let down. ”Pretty grotty hostel run by a family. The bed that I stayed in, which I paid over $50 btw, stank of mold. The promised wifi turned out to be if the owner was around she might turn on her phone hotspot for a 30 minutes or so. The fridge was really gross, and their dog tried to bite me when I checked in. Main owner is pretty grumpy and unfriendly, although her kids and grandfather are pretty nice. Not great.”

”Booked 2 nights but only stayed one. Awful dark cell of a room with fan that rattled insanely. No WiFi anywhere despite it being offered. Very limited drinks and not much on the menu available - in a very isolated no-options location. The smear of (apparently) poop discovered on the sheet sealed it. ”

”Die Unterkumft hat als Hostel einen hohen Standard und engagiertes, hilfsbereites Personal. Sie liegt allerdings relativ weit vom Hafen - als Durchgangsstation zu den Raja Ampat Inseln - entfernt in einem nicht sehr guten Gebiet. Sie ist m. ”The staff at this hotel were so lovely and attentive, they provided us with great service and helped us set up some excursions in addition to our shuttle. There are a few local restaurants near by, which kept us satisfied for the 5 days we were there, but we also had a kitchenette, which was nice, although we didn’t use it like we had planned with the proximity of restaurants. Another added bonus was having laundry in our room!”

"We spent 5 days in this hotel. It claims to be a five star but doesn’t live up to that. Some of the staff was extraordinary nice, while others just seemed bored of tourists. The welcoming was great despite the rainy weather. Umbrellas and sheltered vehicles were there to take care of our luggage. But there were some things missing in the room, for example schampoo and a hair dryer. We got it, but you shouldnt have to ask for elementary things like that. A hand rail was broken in the bathroom and the balcony lock did not work. The music in restaurant Nuku was so loud that one could barely hear what your company said. The last night we found the ”adults only” restaurant Koru in the vast hotel area. That restaurant was fantastic and I wish that we had found it before. But it was far away from our room and it took about 10 -15 minutes by the hotels transport vehicle to reach it. At the checkout in the morning I asked for a receipt for extras I had to pay for. The receptionist said that everything is in the envelope I got. Since it was a queu in the morning I didn’t check it before I was in the taxi on my way to the airport. The receipt had no details about what I spent during those 5 days, only the total sum. This is not professional. You should check with the customer if he agrees with the costs and give a detailed receipt. Very good was the AirPort service - you could checkin to the fligt and leave your luggage at the hotel, which perfectly arrived in your destination."
