”Average and thus overrated. Even with the context of Vanuatu. Best is the views, steak is also very good (as it tends to be in Vanuatu). The double story wing is poorly constructed so I was lucky it was quiet time of the year, the building shakes when staff walks on the upper deck. Beware, there is someone with long fingers, keep your valuables locked away, I was nicked a watch.”

”I loved Breakas Beach Resort! It's not a high-end, super-glitzy kind of place, but a very lovely, relaxed, simple place to stay where they still take care of your every need. The individual cottages, built of local rock, roofed with palm leaves, and scattered through the beautiful forest, are simple yet elegant. ”One of the best places I've ever stayed. The location is perfect, forget any doubts about going to the Yasawas vs mainland. Staff are very friendly. Setup of the bures is amazing, would love to have some blinds or more privacy in the bedroom, this sounds worse than it is, minor thing. More flippers/ snorkelling gear would be great.”

”We paid for Ocean view and could see it with binoculars from the back of garden between palms (complained but the room offered was much smaller and got no other compensation even though we hinted it). All-inclusive package in order to be worth it requires you to eat buffet also for lunch and drink a lot from the pool bar - we were without it, ordered what we wanted and saved over 50% of package price. Golf course is quite badly maintained 9hole-par3 and just green fee is in all-inclusive...

”Meillä oli mökki rantanäkymällä. Rauhallinen alue ja riittävän pieni resort, jotta jokaiselle löytyi se oma rauhallinen rantakaistale ja oman mökin terassilla sai ihan rauhassa ihailla merta. Mökit jo kuluneet ja kaipaisivat uudistusta, pesutiloissa ikä näkyy. Hotelliesittelyssä kerrotaan, että ilmastointi huoneissa, mutta ainakin meidän mökissä oli vain kattotuuletin. "Overall a great place and the atmosphere and service was fabulous! You can find quiet spots by the beach even if you’re in the ”family” side. The pool area was pretty crowded when it was sunny, so in order to get a sunbed you have to go there either early in the morning or later in the afternoon. The only minus comes from the fact that the rooms are not soundproof- you can’t hear the neighbours but you can definitely hear everything happening outside, constantly passing shuttles, people talking etc. Not the biggest problem for us but might be for someone :) "
