âWhat a great place! Lungern is a nice, quiet town with a beautiful lake. Emmaâs B&B is up on the hillside by the train station. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant and had a range of options. Would definitely recommend.â

âThis hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. â
âThe hotel is located in Meiringen, which is connected to Interlakhen OST and Luzern by train. Lake Brienz is also pretty close to the property. The room was spacious, had all amenities. Though like many other Intrelaken Hotels, the hotel does not have AC, however, they provided table fan, which is sufficient. Hotel provides a free pass to ride to local cable car and public bus services. â
âAbsolutely loved the property and great view. The spa area was fabulous and a slide for my daughter that she loved. Highly recommend it to families. â
âWe enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We mainly wanted to explore Mount Titlis and this hotel is a 10 minute walk from there. The hotel has really beautiful views of the mountains. The restaurant and breakfast they have was also quite good! The hotel also has a lot of restaurants and bars around. The are also plenty of shops around.
Caroline helped us out a lot during our stay and if it wasnât for her, we would have a much more difficult time during our stay! â
âWe stayed for five nights with my husband in July 2024. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, and the starting points for daily hiking trips. The service was excellent, and we got great hiking tips. The value for money is very good, and the breakfast tasty. â
âLovely hotel and great staff. Restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. Rooms were spacious and we had a great view to mountains. Iâll stay again there for sure.â
âLovely simple hotel a bit off Brienz. Thereâs a bus connection to Brienz, but Iâd recommend a car. It was nicely situated about a 40 min drive to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. Mostly very quiet and everything was clean and simple. If you happen to have noisy neighbours, then it might be a bit uncomfy, but thatâs really not the hotelâs fault.
The room doesnât have an aircon, but it did get a bit more chilly at night if we kept the door open.â
âBreakfast was really good and the lobby was beautiful. But the room was not so nice. It was kind of old and shower curtains were dirty. There was not so good air in the room.â
