”Clean room friendly staff”

”It was a terrible place to stay both side security doors will not shut by themselves you had to literally slam them to be secure the room door was kicked in a whole bunch of times continental breakfast sucked the whirlpool had bugs in it and black stuff floating everywhere and the activation button for the Jets was really jalopy and messed up you had to hit it like 20 times for the Jets to start up and they were very weak worst place I've ever stayed ever. Do not stay there you're better off...

”Lots of little signs in the room… use these colored rags to wash off makeup, clean up spills (one very scratchy brownish washcloth), sign to not color your hair in the room (?), to open the curtains when you leave… felt a little naggy. Overall comfortable though and clean.”

”I went to work online to work on my ANCESTRY account and there was NO internet for the whole time! They should have offered us an alternate hotel with internet so I could work! We are also hearing impaired and use devices on internet to hear which was impossible with no internet!”

”Found a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door when we got there. The hotel kiosk staff was the most helpful part of the entire stay. I think the room was overpriced for what we got for sure. And then on our checkout day, the housekeeper asked if we were checking out at 9:50 when the checkout time was 11. And when we said we had one more bag to grab he looked down at his watch like he was in a hurry so we felt like we better leave by 10, even though we had another hour left still.”

”This was a one night stop as we traveled west from the UP to Duluth and we wished we could have stayed here longer. This is a fantastic property. The best hotel breakfast we had all week, and a pool that was actually warm and a hot tub that functioned as it is supposed to. It doesn't sound like a high bar to meet, but so many other properties fail to maintain the amenities to a high standard. The room had 2 entry points: 1 from the exterior and 1 that opens up to the pool area. Spacious...

”The picture on Expedia wasn’t what we saw. We stayed in a room with a queen bed and bathroom. The place itself was very unique and in an out of the way area. We were the only ones who stayed who were traveling through. The other guests were guys who worked in the area. We thought for what we paid, it was ok. No TV in room, but there was a Keurig for our morning coffee. Great views to look at.”

”This Hotel is close to the highway without any road noise which makes it very convenient and easy to access. Very clean and well appointed. Breakfast options are really nice and varied. This hotel felt new. There was none of the minor wear and tear you can find in a lot of hotels. The staff were very helpful. I had a billing crossover between Expedia and the hotel and when I called they rectified it immediately and I saw the correction on my credit card statement almost as soon as I hung...

”Very basic and old motel. It advertises a restaurant on site- not really. There is one across the parking lot. Only open at night and employees want to close early, not great. The price of over $200/night is way high for what you get. I would equate it to a basic Super 8 and would not pay over $60 to stay there.”

”We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.”
