”We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. It was also lovely to meet the owner Bill who made sure everything was running smoothly. We cannot empathise how fabulous the food was. Simply amazing. An excellent...

”We loved our stay at The Yair. We booked it for its proximity to the river Tweed for fly fishing and found that the river runs past the property; complete with fishing hut and a gillie! The property’s owner was great in his communication and was available for anything we needed. It was fascinating to learn from him about the history of the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition. We would stay here again, independent of fishing.”

”The apartment was lovely, great location overlooking the river. We had our dog with us, and there was plenty of walks right from the doorstep. Also the area is very dog friendly. We enjoyed sitting at the dining table watching life go by. Extremely well equipped place (we have stayed at places where where there wasn't even any salt and pepper). Overall, a very enjoyable week (the weather was great too), and if we return to Peebles, we will book here again.”

”We stayed at the Garden Cottage and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the gardens. Also we took full advantage of the many walking trails in the local area. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfy. We would love to come back again!”
