Welcome to Midtown! Experience Memphis like a local in this 3 bedroom Tudor style home, built in 1934 but has been recently renovated. Traditional and formal, yet charming and very elegantly decorated. The master bedroom is something to behold but the star of the show is the on-suite shower. More like a spa-like retreat, featuring a marble-tiled walk-in shower, with a bench and rain shower head, personal sprayer wand, and a sleek frameless shower door. The heart of the home, the kitchen, (fully stocked) is a culinary dream with gas cooking, double ovens, and rich aromas that invite memorable gatherings. The gas fireplace in the living room adds a touch of romance to the ambiance and promises cozy evenings. Amenities include central AC, gas stove, new appliances and High Speed WIFI.
This property is ideal for those with mobility challenges as almost everything is on the primary, street level floor.
Since the airport is only 15 mins away, we do hear some planes fly overhead. Earplugs will be provided for any who are sensitive to noise at night.
Bonus room also has a 72" Smart TV with Amazon Fire Stick so you can connect to whichever streaming service you choose, or use my Netflix, Peacock, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu subscriptions. This space can accommodate 2 additional guests on a queen bed.
This 4,400 sq/ft house sleeps 6 on the main floor and 8 total if the bonus room upstairs is also used. Master Bedroom (king bed), guest room 1 (queen bed), guest room 2 (queen bed) and then the bonus room which also has a full bathroom, can be set up (if requested in advance) with another queen bed for the 7th and 8th guests. (There is a one time $75 add-on "set up fee" for this 4th bed) 3 full bathrooms in total available for your use. You'll also want to enjoy your breakfast and morning coffee in our sun room with a gorgeous 360 view of our garden - absolutely stunning when everything is blooming.
You are very well located here in Midtown with many attractions nearby! Visit Beale Street, Graceland, Sun Studios, Overton Square, Shelby Farms, University of Memphis, Rhodes College or the Zoo in well under a 20 mins drive, and most in just 10 mins. Not to mention some amazing Memphis BBQ spots and other great restaurants right here in Midtown, just a few mins away.
