”Very quaint property in a lovely part of Mena! I am a preacher in Oklahoma, and my parents live in Louisiana, so we used this as a good halfway point meetup for a few nights of family time. The layout was very nice for this, and very roomy for my parents, my wife and I, and our kids. Nice living room, and also an upstairs area where we watched a family movie together. Plenty of beds. The kitchen was great for cooking meals instead of having to eat out too much. We would definitely stay here...

”This was a very neat cozy little house. It was very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, microwave and an air fryer. The bathroom was clean and well maintained as was the laundry room. The property also has easy access to the main road. We would highly recommend staying at Retro Rest. If we need to book another stay in Mena it would be our first choice.”

8. Charm, Comfort and Style, walk to downtown Mena, AR

Mena

”This property was so precious and charming! Amazing location for this small town and in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space for our party of four and was so nice to have a kitchen to ourselves to prep for our excursions. One thing to note is the shower/bath is a clawfoot tub. If you have elderly or handicap individuals in your party, which we did, this may be something to consider. Host was very helpful and very quick to respond. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Mena!”

Mena

”This was a great place to stay! I feel like it is fairly new to the VRBO market and is lacking some kitchenware. There were two skillets but both were small, I would recommend a bigger one to make cooking for the group as a whole easier. The dish drying rack doesn’t have a drain into the sink so make sure you dump the pan after you take your dishes off. The third bedroom with bunk beds doesn’t have a door, so this is something to keep in mind or I would recommend the host putting a curtain on a...
