Huvilat – Menaggio

”It’s an old property with stairs and no way to carry your luggage but by lifting yourself. It’s okay we are hikers and able to carry our luggage but people with heart conditions will surely have issues accessing the stairs to reach the property and the villa we booked is just one room facing the lake at 3rd floor with old doors and bathroom is outside so is the kitchen. People are friendly till you reach the property and after that you are on your own 😊”

”The accommodation was breathtaking, the views of lake como from our room, wonderful. The house was clean, quiet and had everything we could need. The host was very accessible and friendly. ”

”Amazing! Claudia was very helpful and nice, Varenna was unreal and we had the best time ❤️”

”Fantastic villa overlooking Lake Como. Our room, very spacious with a balcony overlooking the nearby catello and Lake Como.We used the shuttle for travel to and from the Villa which has set times. Kind and welcoming staff, Excellent restaurant next to the property and the supermarket not far away.Recommended for those who love a romantic and evocative holiday”

”Beautiful house and view helped make our stay at Lake Como a memorable one!”

”Very nice owner help with everything!”

”Mrs. Claudia our host was so kind and full of information to make our stay memorable. The villa was beautiful, like out of a storybook. We enjoyed walking the path down to Varenna. It was challenging and beautiful. We would recommend a stay in this beautiful location.”

”It took us (9 people? a long time to get to Lake Como due to the significant delays with our trains. We were exhausted by 5pm when we finally arrived at Varenna station. Thanks to the timely and useful information provided by Claudia, we were able to get on the van run by Monica right away and get to the property with ease. Claudia is super nice and showed us the property. The Villa was built 90 years ago and belonged to a family in Milan. You do have to climb about 40 steps from the street to...

”It was very hot when we were there and the AC was not very effective in living areas. Bedrooms were good at night time.”

Ci siamo trovati molto bene.”

”Rented this spot in Ticino and it worked out perfectly. Walking distance to a bakery/coffee shop. Had a great meal at Ristorante Sport. Migros grocery store is right down the street. Small village of 1500 people. Close drive to Lugano and only an hour drive to Malpensa airport. The views of the lake are fantastic.”
