”Our stay was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a prettier location. The grounds were like a fairytale. The cabin was nice and as described. The people were very nice and easy to communicate with. The only thing I think that could be improved would be the under the couch really needed to be cleaned. This isn’t noticeable unless you use the hid a bed. But this would not stop me from staying there again. Loved this trip!!!dish washer didn’t work well at all and ”

”We had a wonderful experience. We ate every meal except one there. Roger is a great host. Even though we had a power outage and a tornado warning during out stay we would not change a thing. The wait staff is amazing!! ”

”Our group had a wonder stay at The Lodge. The house is large enough to accommodate large groups without feeling like you are tripping over each other. The beds were super comfortable and the house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host is super attentive and responsive to his guest. I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to be in the area. ”

”I really loved this little cabin. It is so serene and peaceful, the hot tub is amazing. It is beautiful and I would recommend it but there are a couple things that would make this cabin to the best of the best. Please have a deep cleaning of the whole cabin done at least monthly... It needs some TLC. Also please invest in a new bed, it's old wore out and so uncomfortable. We barely slept. Thanks for a great weekend.”

”Overall, a wonderful cabin. Host was excellent. Cabin was furnished and fully equipped. I could hear the water rushing in the mountain Creek below the cabin. I felt at peace, enjoying nature, but still close enough to other activities in Ft Payne. I would recommend this place to all.”

”Great cabin! We loved it and so did kids. I fished in stream out back while kids swam. Very close to Desoto park which had zip line, swimming pool, and Indian falls. Went horseback riding right down the road. Saw deer, turkey, and a bear that ran off quickly. ”
