”Could not have asked for a better stay in Merida. The listing looks exactly like the photos—very beautiful spot. The pool was a very nice touch for an afternoon dip when the temps get higher. Overall, the place is excellent; but the MVP of this is the host. He was extremely responsive, with all the questions we had, even had some wonderful suggestions for what to do and how to get around town. Definitely would love to come back to this place!”

”We picked a perfect week to visit as a storm was coming in as we left. The upstairs apartment is just perfect with a front (Beach side) porch and a back (private pool side) porch. Ute is a wonderful host and provides a fully stocked kitchen, drinking water, soaps & shampoos, linens & towels. As I sit here, back in the states (NC) huddled under some quilts to keep warm, I’m missing that warm ocean breeze, tropical temps and blue Gulf of Mexico water. Till next time..”

”First, Rena's beachfront property, Casa Del Mar Esmeralda was every bit as beautiful as advertised. And before we even arrived Rena's hospitality was on display, as she answered several questions we had about the area: travel, security, sharks (lol), Cenotes, La Ruinas, etc. Her and her staff were very accommodating from the time we arrived, which included arrangements for my partner Melissa to actually check in a few hours earlier than me. ”Had trouble finding the property as the ad lists an incorrect address. We were looking on the wrong side of the street and attempting many properties before actually finding the correct place. Once able to find it the property was clean and attractive, my granddaughter loved the pool and so did we. Air conditioning was great and water worked well. ”Amazing, refreshing family holiday! We loved this quiet, private beach front property. Pool was well maintained. Property manager met us on initial check in! Great places to eat within walking distance and there was fruit and vegetables at a local market. Bedrooms (2) comfortable with air conditioner in each room. ”Only a few blocks walk to great restaurants and shopping, this house was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Kitchen was well equipped for what we needed but I’d not want to have too many people in the kitchen at one time. Pool stayed cool and refreshing even in high temps (40 C) and lots of comfortable seating was provided. Very quiet at night and the AC worked flawlessly. Would definitely return.”
