”Really beautiful hotel. Decor some of the best I’ve seen for a hotel, beautiful and stylish. The spa area was small but gorgeous. Staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Didn’t give full marks because - additional payment for outdoor pool (!£25) seems a bit money grabbing on top of the room rate. - related to this limited hours in spa for people staying at hotel detracted from experience - no gym. It is a little dated but perfectly kept and clean and absolutely everything you could need - even an iron. Slept really well which is what you need when travelling. ”Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. ”

”We booked at The Town House Brecon as we were attending the Hay Festival nearby. The welcome we received was fantastic, the room was lovely with a big comfortable bed and we slept better than we had in ages. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was an honesty bar in the cosy lounge area. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B and would happily book to stay again.”
