”Never stayed at a TRU property before, but having been on the road for the past 10 days, we knew what we wanted (and didn't). The place was decorated very hip and looked like no other hotel lobby I've been in before. The front desk was surrounded by every travel and snack product imaginable. Of course, none of it was complementary. The place just felt weird and as far as we could tell, the location was in an old industrial park. When we got to our room, we about barfed from the smell....

”The pictures look better than reality. The upkeep of property is very poor. The room was somewhat clean. I woke up in middle of night and there was a roach crawling on bed. When I went to checkout no one at front desk so I could not discuss with staff about the cleanliness and roach. I would not recommend.”

”They waited until we hauled our bags into the lobby to let us know that their boiler went out; they had no hot water and didn’t know if it would be fixed by the next morning. They could have been in touch about this. Someone in management decided it would be better to wait with the info, making it inconvenient to cancel. And having to, on the fly, decide if I could wait to take a shower. This not in the best interest of their customers and clearly designed to reduce the number of...

”Other guests in hallway slamming doors and speaking loudly with doscontwnted children crying all through the night for a 2 night stay. First room to which we were assigned smelled worst than a dirty dog kennel. Lampshades in both rooms looked like a bad frat party had been in the room.”

”It was a nice hotel and close to everything. The only issue we had was that we paid $10 per day for parking and each night when we returned parking was very hard to find and very inconvenient to park at the back of the lot with between big trucks in small spaces.”

”Older hotel but nice and clean and super comfortable beds. The breakfast was good too. Close to the airport and a great Chinese restaurant within feet of the hotel. The staff was great too.”

When she checked my grandson’s, even though she could tell tell he was under 18, by DOB on his license, she just asked if he was under 18. Once we got to our room, I realized she hadn’t shown the WiFi password on our key envelope. We looked through the room and couldn’t find it, so I called the office on my cellphone since the room phone wouldn’t connect me....

”Older motel trying to look new. Bedding was updated and clean. Love no carpeting in room and hallways. But hole in bathroom door, splintered at top, nothing else updated. Hotel had a perfume smell like they were trying to hide something. Would not stay even for one night. Very basic breakfast, but coffee and juice was fine. Run down parking lot, beside a gas station. ”
