”Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn at Steele Creek. We booked a king-size bedroom with a pull-out sofa for one night before flying out of CLT the next morning. ”The counter staff were very friendly, the hotel seemed new, and the rooms and areas I encountered were clean. There were two light switches by the door but only the one with a label of Master did anything. What it did was turn on the main light AND the fan. I couldn't have that light on without the fan. ”I like its location - very close to the highway and ethnic restaurants such as Curry Gate II for Indian and Nepalese food. It's also very close to the Tyvola Lynx (light rail) station, where you can park your car for free and ride the train to downtown Charlotte for $2.20. Best of all, this place is very close to the Billy Graham Library, which is a must-see for Christians and non-Christians alike.”
