”What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. It is an experience. And then there is Gina! Her hospitality is in a class of its own. From preparing a wonderful breakfast to serving homemade banana...

”The pool, jacuzzi, restaurant and bar were great amenities. I had a wonderful stay.”

”The hotel has a sweet charm about it and has nice clean rooms, convenient parking for a fee, and even a good breakfast offering. However, try never to stay in room 106 because all you’ll hear is the elevator control equipment running constantly…quite annoying and interruptive of a good night’s rest.”

”City Suites was a great location to see a concert at The Vic. My room was ready before noon, which was so great after having just flown there and being very tired. The staff was very helpful & kind. One star missing just because it is an older property, so there becomes a lot of dust & paint cracks, etc that don’t always get tidied. ”Clean room, Friendly staff.”

”Stayed in here for 9 nights total and couldn’t have not asked a better experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure my stay was perfect. Special thanks to Adrian! ”

”This is a glorified hostel.”

”Nice place to stay.”

”I was not charged any extra fees. I enjoyed the stay as it was a quick one night stay.”

”I like that it had a balcony food choice wasn’t my type of style end up ordering food off of site but definitely had all the amenities for you to be ready for the next day. Will be staying again little bit pricey for a short weekend stay but I will definitely be coming back. Very great part of the town hope to own my own own home in this place one day.”

”This B&B is absolutely worth visiting due to the breakfast. If you are tired of those standard hotel breakfasts visit this place and you'll be happy. Rooms are rather normal and the general spaces are full of "collector's" stuff, don't let that disturb you (ok the weightlifter statue might get the cr** out of you if you stay in the room next to that) .. breakfast is the thing why you come here (you'll get a 5* breakfast in this place). Staff is extremely nice (enjoyed discussing with them a lot)...

”Great place to stay! Breakfast was pretty good, with a great selection. Wonderful location, clean and quiet.”

”Excellent hotel. Fairly new, excellent condition. The breakfast was good, and if you visit the hotel, do visit the rooftop bar (reservation recommended)!”
