Motellit – Michigamme

”Stayed here on a snowmobiling trip for 5 days. Very nice place, excellent access to the trails. Very clean, simple and convenient. Will be staying here annually from here on out. I wish I could give more stars!! The one “downside” is there could be a little more space for parking. I had a truck and a 18 foot enclosed trailer and we fit ok. Any bigger might be tough! ”

”The hotel was well worn. We booked here because of location to Ishpeming and for that I would give it 5 stars. The breakfast was nice. We picked this hotel because of the pool. We were very disappointed because the pool and hot tub were closed upon our arrival. We were told it was being serviced. On the third day the pool was still closed but the hot tub was operating. Having three children under 9 it was very disappointing. We were never offered the use of the outdoor pool on the owners other...

”This place is immaculate! Staff are super nice. Only reason it is not a 5 star is cigarette butts littering the side exit doors and plastic glasses and no elevator. Balancing those criticisms against the price makes this place a WINNER!”

”The little details made this stay absolutely amazing! We booked one night at a *very* reasonable rate to avoid setting up camp on our property in the dark and it was the perfect romantic kickoff for our week. The outdoor space with the fairy lights and bug tent really makes this property”

”These past 3 days were a trip back to my childhood! The coziness of the camper was very much like the one my parents had for our vacations. Most everything was typical of a maintained camper - gas stove with an electric option, windows, toilet, shower, refrigerator, with a modern plus of a microwave. Being next to Lake Superior/L'Anse Bay was a big plus. Owners were a phone call away if needed (I did call for info and they were answered immediately). The only drawback was that fact that US-41...

”Very quiet. The grounds were very nice. The owner was very pleasant. But the description of the place did not tell me that i had to climb so many steps. The room was very nice. But the shower and barhroom sink, both had hair in them. The table had sticky spots. And the outside of the frig was dirty.”
