”Our stay overall was very accommodating to our guests. Sleeping arrangements work well for a group of 10! Very Nice that sheets and towels are provided! The fire pit had plenty of cut wood provided also a nice bonus! Departure rules are very simple! The location is very nice! It’s very secluded like advertised. It Centers to a lot of attractions! The house itself needs lots of TLC. Sliding doors are extremely hard to open/close. The toilets need updating. The kitchen kettles need updating...

”This was one of the best vacations our family had and it was majorly due to this property! The house was beautiful and had everything you could need. The loft upstairs was an absolute win for the kids. On the rainy day they all sat up there to play cards and our son thought it was so cool that he got to sleep up there! ”The property is beautiful. We really enjoyed the game/sitting area under the cabin. The zip line, the slide and the hot tub were great. Our only issues were that we needed to fill the hot tub as the water level was quite low and there was no smoke detector that we could see.”

”The property was very nice with a large yard. There were a lot of songbirds and an eagle! House was very clean with everything you need. We explored the area doing a lot of hiking and was a very relaxing place to come back to. The porch is amazing even when it rained. There are 2 benches at the creek but it's easier if you bring camp chairs for the firepit which we didnt have. A wonderful place to stay!!”

Wanting to have some peace and quiet when others were coming up last year led us to look elsewhere and this is where we decided to stay...and we loved it. This year we decided to book it before we even checked with my other family members. You don't need to struggle to find a reason to stay here. It's quiet, close to everything, and Traci will take care of you, period.”

”Overlooking a beautiful creek, we enjoyed sitting on the open deck (There was also a large furnished screened in porch which we didn't use.). Noise from the trucks on the nearby road was annoying but didn't interrupt sleep at night. Cabin was fine althought outdated decor and furnishings. Plan to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash as none was provided and we had to use remnants from previous tenants.”

”Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!”

”This is a great property with a wonderful space for large families. We loved the large table that was able to seat our 21 family members. The children also enjoyed the large room upstairs with the toys, foosball, Legos, books and TV. Our family enjoyed the yard to play games and have a camp fire.
