”This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”

”Lovely old and fascinating English house in a beautiful setting, near to lots of interesting places. We enjoyed the breakfast which was efficiently served in a characterful room. Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. ”The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.”
