”Very quiet property. Occasionally could here some of the campers in the park. About 3/4 of the way down the lane in the evening there is a little grass area where the deer would come out to graze. Depending on the time you came back to the cabin you could see a few. One evening there was probably close to 20 out there. If you are a nature lover it is an awesome site to see. ”We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out...
