Just a couple items worth noting but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay. First, house was very clean except for mouse droppings were found in a 2 kitchen drawers, we washed kitchen utensils before using, including the drawers, but the next day there was more droppings. ”This was a wonderful place for our family to gather in Bar Harbor. The hosts thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, including a second refrigerator. The indoor and outdoor dining areas were both comfortable for our group of seven. There was plenty of room in the side yard for us to store bikes. The bedrooms were comfortable and AC units worked great to cool us down during the unusually hot weather. ”If you are looking for a place with the fanciest furnishings, and most up to date fixtures, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, inviting well lived and loved home, this is it. It has a great location, may be dated, but is completely functional. Only problem we had was starving the hot water system while taking showers and washing clothes. Other than that, it was awesome!
