”Got a good rate on Expedia for a well-rated hotel we stayed at ~10 yrs ago. Lobby is nice with a bar. No free breakfast. But there is quick coffee bar with a few food items. Self-parking was $18/night in an area you'd not expect it to be. Daily maid service=minimally furnished amenities/towels/etc. My one cup of coffee was ruined with curdled cream (husband's black coffee in noninsulated cup got cold quickly/no m/w); hair in tub which backed up; hair on bathroom floor; not much TP-didn't last 1...

”This Dunn Loring location was perfect! It was easy to access and an easy walk to the Metro station and Harris Teeter for groceries. The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful! The Bistro had wonderful food and the small market had some good snack options if needed. The parking under the hotel was very clean and felt safe. Our two complaints are the pool area was closed and we wish we could have used the pool and we did not have a microwave in...

”This hotel is showing its age. I think they are in the process of doing some upgrades, but the reality is that it is not finished. The staff were very helpful from the housekeepers to the front desk. We were visiting for the high school graduation at Meredith high school. The location of this hotel was perfect.”

”Have to come up to my job a few times a month for a few. Looked online and wasnt surpised at the prices at other hotels. Found this one and DID NOT read that it was outside rooms. Was very nervous about that. Check in was fine. Got to my room and wiped down everything so not sure how clean it was.”

”They had a clean room with staff who were kind. Their kitchen was stocked. We did have an issue with our room, so we called, but both times they put us on hold and hung up on us. So that wasn't pleasant. Besides that, parking was cheap, and it was all good.”

”Rooms need a little maintenance. Toilet paper holder loose, toilet didn’t always flush, toilet runs, shower door not aligned and has gap where seal is. Breakfast was decent but you should mix up the meat choices. No bacon offered the three days I was there. Only sausage and maybe a turkey something that wasn’t appealing. Also, had plates and regular silverware on Monday but quickly switched to paper/plastic rest of days I was there.”
