”The motel is pretty basic for the price, but everything was OK in the room (bed heaters were very nice; wifi and TV reception not very good). The restaurant is surprisingly good. But what really makes this place worth staying are the surroundings! The scenery is just beautiful and there are kangaroos and cockatoos everywhere. Recommended!”

”The lady at the reception was super lovely (bonus points for a cute doggo). The location is amazing - you really do feel like you are within the nature surrounded by mountains, also within a close vicinity of some shops and restaurants too. The facilities were amazing and really clean - there were a lot of posters with recommendations for hikes and other useful stuff dotted around as well.”

Location was perfect when coming from Melbourne, and our stay was overall very pleasant. The room was in stellar condition and the hotel staff was very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. You definitely get value for your money, and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone. ”

”I enjoyed my stay here, I had driven for over 5 hours and was tired after a sightseeing tour of Bendigo. I booked last minute, but it was no hassle, check in was easy and the room itself was comfortable and roomy, powerful shower which was nice, and although next to the main highway through Stawell (where freight road trains rumble past) I couldn't hear them in my room and had an undisturbed sleep.
