”This is a lovely cottage with many amenities tucked in along Penns Creek. The drive there is worth the trip with all the country settings and vistas. My favorite part is the screened in porch above the creek. We have stayed here before and will be going back again in the future. ”

”We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

”This was a great property. We were in town for a wedding and were pleasantly surprised by how great this location was for hiking, fishing, or tubing in Poe Valley/Poe Paddy State Parks.The house is great. It's very clean and cozy. We spent tons of time on the screened in front porch. I was happy with all of the kitchen amenities and also took advantage of towels being available so I didn't have to lug those with us. I wasn't prepared for no Internet on our way though and didn't take note of...

”Everything you need for a fun stay less than 15miles from State College!We stayed for graduation weekend and loved the rustic decor of the Cabin, the scenic drive through the state park and the cozy quiet of the surrounding forrest. AT&T service was strong, definitely read the drive in and out recommendations of an SUV or a pick up truck. The owner was hospitable with providing snacks, waters and was very responsive and pleasant. We would stay at this property again. ”
