Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the storm in Asheville and we are happy to see this area bouncing back so quickly! We are grateful to share that this home was unaffected, is easily accessible from the airport, and remains a cozy safe haven for your upcoming stay. The roads are operating as normal and we've taken extra precautions to ensure everything is in great condition. We hope that by discounting our rates, we will be able to accommodate anyone in need and contribute to the local community and businesses.

This impressive cabin in Mills River overlooks a scenic mountain lake and provides space for your entire group to relax and explore Western North Carolina. This property is an easy 8 mile drive from the Asheville Regional Airport, 11 miles from Brevard, and 12 miles from the many charms of downtown Hendersonville. Just 14 miles away, visit Dupont State Forest with its beautiful waterfalls, and some of the best hiking and mountain biking or sightsee in Pisgah National Forest, home to Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, and Sliding Rock.

Step inside the inviting Lakefront Cabin to find 15ft vaulted, wood-planked ceilings and a gas fireplace that adds a warm and welcoming feel throughout. Gaze across the lake from the two-story covered balcony, spread out between two separate living areas, and whip up tasty meals in the chef's kitchen. Sip drinks on the front porch and watch sunset or take it lakeside around the firepit by the dock. Recent additions include a large sectional and a 65-inch TV in the downstairs great room with a wet bar and a new bunk room with 2 double bunk beds. There are many spaces to dine and relax outdoors with your loved ones, with a new outdoor dining table on the second-level deck. Extra fun will make your trip memorable with the Ping-Pong table, cornhole, and kayaks all available for at no additional charge.

Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, a workspace, exercise bike, central air-conditioning, board games, highspeed internet, and a Tesla EV charger onsite for guests to use.

Lakefront Cabin may be rented with Cozy Lakeview Cottage as Lakefront Cabin & Cozy Lakeview Cottage to accommodate up to 17 guests!

- The five-and-half-acre lake (stocked for fishing) is a non-motorized lake.
- High-speed WiFi
- NO BUSES, LARGE TRUCKS, TRAILERS, or RV's allowed at property or driven on road to home to listing.
- Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
- Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
- All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
- This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
- All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
