”The apartment we had was very tired and needed to be updated. Parking near the apartment was not good due to staff parking there when they could of parked in the main car park. Otherwise the place was very clean and amazing grounds, i did not use the leisure facilities so cant comment on them, staff were very polite and helpful”

”It’s such a lovely place, a historic building surrounded by beautiful gardens. The evening I arrived I went for a hike to the nearest tor. The foot path starts right across the street and takes you up to wonderful views of the countryside in just 20 min! My room had a big bath tub and I took a long bath after the hike. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Loved every moment of my stay. ”

”Amazing stay, regular visited to Woolacombe in the summers months at the caravan parks. Found this Gem and will be using them again! Perfect location. 10 minutes from Barnstaple and 10 from Woolacombe! The town it’s situated in is also great! The Room was stunning and the hosts were great too.. No iron in the room so I messaged the host and when I got back to my room from a trip into town, there was an iron and an ironing board their waiting for me! Thank you!”

”The house is nicely decorated and was very clean. We only had to get rid of a large number of spiders, but that was due to our arachnophobia. It is a place where one can really calm down and relax and it´s great that dogs are allowed. We enjoyed walking along the coast and down to the "beach" where we saw some quite "dramatic" sunsets. The only downside was, that the 2 lower bedrooms were damp so that we needed to keep dehumidifiers running. But still one of the bedrooms had a quite unpleasant...
