  • Perfect for a large family getaway, this six-bedroom lakefront home boasts stellar amenities and just as impressive views. Day or night, the views are truly unforgettable! During the day, enjoy looking out at gleaming blue waters, shrouded in sunshine, and surrounded by lush greenery. During the evening, spot breathtaking views of the Milky Way and the dazzling night stars.

    Fun in the sun has never come so easy! Enjoy having access to kayaks, yard games, a firepit, a gas grill, and a wrap-around balcony. When you aren't playing on the lakeshore or in the expansive yard, check out nearby High Point Marina for all of your fishing and boating needs, Orange Troller for cruises around Lake Anna, and Chewning Park for peaceful walks.

    Inside, craftsman style meets farmhouse style. From the vaulted ceilings and wood finishes to the chef's kitchen - you will adore exploring every corner and corridor of this spacious retreat. Tune into your favorite movie or TV show in the living room, while the chef of your family utilizes the ample meal prep space and high-end appliances in the adjacent full kitchen. Dine as a family at the large wooden dining table, or take your meal alfresco and dine on the deck.

    Decorated with all guests in mind, the kids will love their room's playful decor and the indoor playground with monkey bars, a climbing wall, a slide, and a cargo net. The adult bedrooms all feature high-quality linens, tasteful decorations, and ample natural lighting. From one of the bedrooms, an ADA-accessible bathroom comes complete with an ADA-accessible shower, sink, and toilet.

    Even the furry members of your family are well taken care of during your stay! Wash them off after a day spent in the water in the designated pet bath and feel free to use the kennels and food storage area.

    Work up a sweat in the private gym on the treadmill or elliptical. Additional interior perks include a washer/dryer, a pool table, dart boards, a poker table, and central air-conditioning.

    Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
    All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

    The indoor playground is made for children eight and under and is suitable for children under 100 pounds.

What a beautiful house! We just got back after spending 4 days and 3 nights at this rental. The house is huge and was very well-stocked! The house was so kid-friendly; with the slide, the climbing structure, and all of the games/puzzles provided. We spent most of the days fishing and caught many right off the dock! It was only 5 minutes from the shopping center which was very convenient. We loved every part of our stay! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Lake Escape. It was a beautiful space with easy access to the lake. We also appreciated that we could bring our furry family who also loved the lake.

Best Family Vacation House

This house was the perfect house to make memories with our family. It was perfect! There was something for everybody! Sunrises and Sunsets on that deck with that view were our favorite part. We will definitely be back!

Amazing house for families

This house is amazing for all ages. Lots of space and everything you need for a family trip. Due to the ice and snow we couldn’t spend much time outside but the slide and climbing walls kept the young kids occupied. The game room in the basement kept the adults and teens occupied. Would definitely return

Wonderful home for family reunion

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen and dining area were big enough for our large family, had an excellent flow and layout, and was well stocked with cooking supplies. The young kids loved the slide and play area. The bigger people loved the basement play area. The deck, back patio, and big yard were great for hanging out outside. The location right on the lake was great. We even got ice cream from the ice cream boat one day! Thank you again for designing such a family friendly home and letting us rent it.

Our fabulous family vacation at Lasy Lake Escape

Our multigenerational family found the house simply amazing. There was something for everyones idea of a vacation! Comfortable furniture, plenty of pots and pans for cooking (which we did every day). Plenty of bathrooms. The outdoors areas were great! Sandy beach! Kayaks, paddle boards, paddleboat ( so many of us loved that!). Horseshoes, fire pit!! We just had the best time! Thank you!!!

Great house for a group!

We loved our recent stay here! I agree with others that the pictures really don’t do the inside of the house justice. Kids had an absolute blast with the slide and rock wall/climbing room. Kitchen was fully stocked and a wonderful space to cook. Beds were comfy and bedrooms spacious and accommodating. Plenty of room to spread out. Area by the water was fine (looked like pictures). This could be an area of improvement that would add a lot to the house . Fun to have access to all the kayaks, paddle boards, and pedal boat. Thank you for a great trip!

Women's Retreat

This beautiful home was the perfect setting for my annual womens retreat. The home was incredibly clean, inviting, and cozy. The multiple gathering spots within the home were perfect for the group to relax and enjoy individual time. The amenities were plentiful! The kitchen was AMAZING!! I'd only offer that the kitchen cooking utensils can be upgraded. Our group did not watch television but I did notice there were plenty of televisions available which would be great for large families. The bedrooms were so nice and beds were very comfortable. I do recommend putting step stools next to the taller beds. I'm 5 feet tall and it was a little difficult getting g into the talker bed in basement level. The outside was so relaxing with an awesome fire pit and plenty of wood for a nice fire at night. The lake was very peaceful and though there are neighbors on both sides of the property, we didn't notice anyone which made it feel like the wonderful retreat it was. It is very evident the home owners care about this property. It is well maintained, supplied with great playtime amenities such as dart board, pool table, arcade game, outdoor toys, and fire pit. The 3D tour was helpful for me in determining if the space would work for our retreat! We loved everything about the home and are already thinking about renting for next year.

AMAZING home for large family gathering with children!

We absolutely LOVED our time at Lazy Lake Escape! Pictures on the website do not do it justice, it is so open, welcoming, cozy and just beautiful! We had eight adults and six children, ages 6, 5, 2 and three infants, and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. The upstairs climbing wall, swings and especially the slide were epic, our grandkids LOVED the space catered just to them, complete with toys, train tracks and great books! The view out the back to the lake when you first walk in the house is breathtaking! We all loved gathering in the kitchen, dining and and living room areas, all connected so we could keep an eye on the little ones. Loved the game room downstairs, where the adults hung out after the children had finally gone to sleep after a long day of boating. The firepit area was great, paved with seats for all of us, and we appreciated how accessible it was to the house! Loved the outdoor shower, mudroom and laundry area, perfect for coming and going with children! House was nicely decorated, nice and simple, just perfect! Only three issues with the house were that the kitchen utensils -- pots and pans, dishes, gadgets, etc.-- were not of the quality expected in a house as amazing as this one. Secondly, the back yard not being finished was fine until it rained, and then it turned to mud, which was difficult to manage with small children. Some of us also got splinters from the little dock. Upgrading those three items would make an already amazing house, completely stellar! But, those three items aside, we ABSOLULTELY LOVED our time at this wonderful retreat, it is a special place, and we WILL be returning!
