”Clean, mostly comfortable room - the pillows were the only let down. We had a really lovely evening meal in the pub and very good breakfast. There was an unpleasant smell of smoke in the hallway outside our room
which was likely from the cigarette bin immediately outside. ”

”We had a wonderful view from our room once the weather cleared up. Dinner reservations book up fast so I recommend booking in advance if you plan to have dinner there. The pub that is attached to the hotel was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to return. ”

”Extremely noisy so you will hear every sound from corridor or other rooms. Full of pensioners and sleeping is hard after 5am when they start to take showers. The room was super small (about 6 m2) and stuffy. This hotel was stylish perhaps in 70's.”

”Super nice place! Pretty much in the middle of nowhere (what we wanted) with stunning views when driving through the mountain pass. Brand new cabin with kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and toilet/shower. Got all info via email, how to get there and key lockbox code. Owners super nice!”

”Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet.
In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night.
Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep!
Rooms were large with modern bathroom facilities including the best towels we have experienced in a while!
Undoubtedly though, the highlights of the stay were the exceptional food and...
