”Even though they are under construction, the rooms are very clean and the lady at the front desk was very friendly. Highly recommended.”

”Air conditioning was at 60 when we got there, brr! Had to turn on heat a bit to get chill off. Toilet sets very low to the ground. Staff very polite and helpful. We would stay again.”

”I was there 45 minutes and checked back out. First off there was no security hook. It had been removed from the door. When I went to the front desk, the gave me a do not disturb sign. Like that was going to keep someone out. When I turned on the air it smelt weird. One of the bed covers were stained. I turned on the TV and it kept searching searching so I called the front desk. He came did something to it got a picture on it and left. He wasn’t gone a minute and the picture just kept going in...

”The things that I noticed was, we did not have room service. We had no clean towels and our tub and toilet didn’t look clean. My sheets had small holes in them and the TV remote wasn’t working.”

”Great customer service some of the building is a bit dirty and the breakfast was great as well but the room wasn’t the best either the bathroom door was broken and the charger sports were broken etc overall a good stay oh and they tried to charge my card 3X times after the stay beware”

”Staff was courteous upon arrival. The room was clean and had comfortable bedding. The hotel and the surrounding properties felt safe. A small hot breakfast of pre-made eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a make your own waffle was included.”

”We stayed at Econo Lodge in room 228 for one night and the room has BED BUGS! Once we realised that , we contacted the hotel but the staff was not helpful at all. We were told that the rooms are clean and that we were supposed to let them know at the time of stay (which was 1 night in our case). I would not recommend staying at this hotel, especially in room 228.”

”Pool was closed for a couple of hours and elevator broke when we were there. They were able to get the elevator fixed fairly quickly. Great location for what we needed and room was clean.”

”We booked online a two-day stay only, because we were not sure about the quality of the hotel. We came from Europe and our flight from Chigago to Des Moines was canceled, so we could not get to this hotel at the first day. I called and they kept our room reserved for us till we arrived, which was really nice. Kids liked the pool a lot. The breakfest was more than we could imagine, and the location was just perfect for us, so we decided to stay a whole week in this hotel. I can warmly recommend...

”Why is there no rating for the bed? It seems like there is something fishy going on there is no rating for bad. The bed was lumpy. I think there should be three main measures of a hotel room: bad, does the heat/AC work, And the noise level of the heat/AC. The AC ran just fine. But none of this matters if you have a crappy bed.”

”Our stay for one night was fine, but it's a rather tired hotel. You can just tell by little things like dirty hallways with old carpet, a wobbly toilet, and old furniture,that it's been around awhile.”
