”Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area.”

”This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.”

Super kind & pleasant employees were more than happy to give recs of nearby destinations and adventures... all were polite to answer so many of our questions…was neat learning the history of the Inn, too. Building and grounds were so clean and quaint! Rooms were spacious and comfortable… Felt like stepping back into a different time & place; so many great little corners to relax, read, enjoy coffee and/or a drink. So close to great trail heads and fun towns, but...

”We really enjoyed staying there! Its our 21 years anniversary and we really enjoyed to walk, visit, and eat in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather area! I would recommend anyone to stay there!”

”The cabin was very clean. The sink didn’t drain well but water pressure was good. The staff was chatty and all was well until the gentleman shared political opinions. Probably would stay there again for convenience and ability to house many.”

”This hotel is great for people looking for an all-in-one resort. The view of the mountains is wonderful. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The one item to consider is the price of the restaurant and bar. It is a bit expensive for what is offered. However, there are excellent off-site options to consider as alternatives.”

”Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...

”The room felt we experienced a bait and switch. Room was in a basement,no windows, and a very musty smell. The roof top bar was closed. Never again!”

”Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. ”
