My recent stay at this property was deeply disappointing due to a severe lack of cleanliness, neglected maintenance, and unprofessional management.
The room itself was in unacceptable condition: the TV didn't work, the bathtub was stopped up and visibly dirty, and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. To make matters worse, the smoke alarms kept going off. When no staff bothered to investigate or fix the issue, I was forced to take the unit down myself just to get some peace in the room.
The staff at check-in was as helpful as he could be given the fact he said he was new and didn't know how to check me into the computer while a night audit was going on. At first he said I would have to come back after 7am (it was just after midnight when I arrived) The rest of the staff were completely uninterested in their jobs, but the biggest issue was the management. When I went to the front desk to ask a random question, the manager's response was to immediately threaten me with a fire department fine rather than addressing the actual problem. She was pushy, loud, and constantly blamed third-party companies instead of taking accountability. Good management anticipates issues, calmly resolves them, and empowers their staff—they do not make excuses or burden guests with their internal problems.
Overall, the hotel is severely neglected and customer service is nonexistent. This is simply not a place I would ever recommend or be proud to say I stayed at.
