”First time stay. A little far out but pleasant location. Odd smell permeated the whole apartment. Lots of stray hairs on the floor. Microwave not working. Remote controls all have dead batteries. Sofa was dirty. TV connection extremely bad - "blizzard screen". Beds were comfortable and view out into the sea was fabulous. ”

”The hotel is in a strip mall shopping complex which is convenient if you want/need to buy food/snacks and also to do laundry. The place is about a 25 minute walk from the airport — no sidewalks though. It’s adequate for a night stay since it’s close to the airport but not near any other activities you may want to do in Miri walking wise. The check in/out was good and the wifi works. ”Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are lovely - clean and spacious, perfect crisp sheets and soft towels! Pool is large enough for swimming whilst others are playing games. Good vegan choices - and chef was helpful in finding/recommending options. Convenient for the airport and Miri centre by Grab. ”

”Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort provided one of the highlights of my Sarawak stay. Breakfast and dinner were both included in my price, and both were incredibly tasty. The resort offers and train/boat ride through the property, which is beautiful and loads of fun. The waterpark has a couple of fun slides. ”Nothing good to say except there is some restaurant nearby. No cleaning, no safety box!! Staff ordered us a taxi the morning we were leaving without asking us first. Felt very much like scammed after that happened. Night before we left, we just talked about leaving by taxi next morning 7am, NOT asked them to order taxi (cause we had Grab-application). Then in the morning 7am staff member is knocking our door and says he ordered us taxi and it's waiting us. As confused tourists we were stupid...

”Staff super nice and helpful, location is ideal in Miri, bed is comfortable. That said, the hotel shows his age and would need refurbishing urgently, especially the bathrooms. I was assigned a room that I did not like at first, but thankfully they were kind enough to give me a better looking one and it turned out to be quiet and comfortable. ”
