”Have stayed several times at lagoons but this time it felt a bit run down for the price. The room wasn’t all that clean inside, so much bird poo and feathers all over the deck, it felt a bit dirty to walk out there or sit there. Especially when we paid for a swim out room. Pool was great & had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. Staff were lovely. Paid an extra guest fee with booking and then on arrival paid again to have the sofa bed made up should really be included in the extra guest...

”Stayed here as an overnight stop and it was great. Rooms were very clean with what looked like new carpet/furniture. We also managed to grab dinner in the restaurant when we arrived which was also great. Hospitality of the owners was exceptional”

”We stayed in Cabin no:1 which had beautiful garden & beach views from the front deck. There was a bbq, outdoor setting and a bench with stools which was perfect for sitting back relaxing with a drink or two. Inside was clean, spacious and well equipped with a washing machine & dryer if needed. 1770 Sunset Cabins is perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway.”

”This is the perfect way to enjoy 1770. Directly across from the calm 1770 foreshore. The vibe of the cabins are tropical island getaway chic - open doors, bamboo, hammock. I stayed here with my three kids. Additionally, the host, Jan, is the loveliest person, very responsive and kind in her approach. Will only be staying here in the future when visiting my favourite place in Aus - worth every cent. ”

”I have stayed at this property several times already, so I’m quite familiar with the experience here. One thing to be aware of is that communication can sometimes be slow. There have been multiple occasions where I had to call but no one answered, and when I sent a message it sometimes took 30 minutes or even a few hours to receive a reply. In some cases, guests may need to collect the key themselves for check-in, which seems to be the normal process here. Some rooms do not have a microwave,...
