If you meander along the Rainforest Track that leads from the beach just south of Mission Beach Village Centre and Castaways Resort – 700m back from the beach you will come across the beautiful holiday oasis of ‘Casa Tropico’. The house features a swimming pool extending from the spacious timber deck with outdoor dining and BBQ area and seating overlooking the wall of Rainforest which is the edge of the Cassowary Corridor that runs along the length of the property. Your private gate entry to the Rainforest Track gives you direct access to the beach just 700m gentle walk. The house is separated into two main sections either side of the central deck and pool. To the West is the living, dining and kitchen with laundry and powder room. To the east is the 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms which are accessed via a covered external deck walkway. The master king suite has a beautiful garden aspect looking across to the rainforest. This main bedroom includes a walk-through wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Open up the wall of glass sliding doors and the bedroom opens out onto its own small timber deck with a perfect lounging area to retreat to and devour a book or podcast while listening to the sounds of the forest. Bedroom 2 and 3 have a shared bathroom and entry hallway which is open to the deck. Bedroom 2 includes a King bed and walk in wardrobe and this bedroom has a lovely outlook onto the deck and pool with sliding glass doors. Bedroom 3 has 2 King Single beds and walk in wardrobe. The house is fully airconditioned and is also designed for the tropics to open up with ample sliding doors and louvres to let the beautiful tropical breeze in. Located in Mission Beach and just a 3 minute drive from the Village Centre with shops, Cafes and Mini Mart or just 5 minutes drive to Wongaling Beach Woolworths shopping centre. You can walk to the beach and the village centre via the Ulysses Link walking track which runs along the foreshore – just over 1500m picturesque walk for your morning coffee in the Village or hire some bikes and ride along the beach! There is also a great fruit and vegetable store, mini mart and specialty food store/bakery. It is great fun strolling around the village shops and galleries. The first and third Sunday of each month there are markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Monster Markets are Last Sunday of month from Easter Sunday to November. During the stinger months (November to May) there is a stinger enclosure at Mission Beach. The new swimming pool is located at Mission Beach including a hydrotherapy pool. The “Splash’N’Dunk” water play pad is on the foreshore of Wongaling Beach. Woolworths Supermarket is just a 5 - 10 min drive from Mission Beach village. It is located at Wongaling Beach. Launch your boat within 5 minutes drive at the new Clump Point Boat Harbour which provides a safe launching facility in a protected harbour. Transport is not really a necessity when you stay in Mission Beach. It is walking distance to the quaint Mission Beach Shopping Village.
