”An excellent Ryokan with lovely staff. We felt very well cared for. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The breakfast is spectacular. As advised by the owners, this is a very very traditional old house (it’s the whole point of the experience), so one should not expect hotel things like black out blinds, or soundproofing.”

”De kamer is uitstekend. Tijdens de pre-opening was er nog weinig open.”

”Parking Spot on back of house and walkable to most things. Beautiful home. Quiet street. Advice remove small step in dining area, my son fell on his elbow because it flipped on him as he stepped down. Finding check in SUCKED. QR code was scannable”

”We had a nice one-night stay here. Bedrooms were much bigger than anticipated and we were able to utilize the washer/dryer which was a plus. Very close to the train station.”

”Large clean room, laundry and kitchen! Oh yeah, and complementary sake and sangria was lovely ! Perfect location to the train a bus stop as well!”

”Great tranquil space and wonderful staff”

”Amazing views and clean room.”

”A wonderful hotel! Everything was perfect. The room was so modern and stylish, enough space, good beds, lovely shower/toilet area. The spa was so amazing, just loved it. The breakfast was also very good japanese breakfast mixed with some western style things. Lovely welcome drinks and snacks. The staff speaks also English and is very helpful. Absolutely would come again.”

”Clean hotel and very efficient staff. The spa/onsen facilieties are on 7th floor. Our room was on 6th floor with a very distinctive mold smell present, which unfortunately decreased the rating of otherwise good experience.”

”We stayed for two nights. Overall a good experience. The staff is very kind. Food was okay, wouldn’t call it great. There’s one thing we didn’t like, the fact that there’s no real housekeeping. Our room wasn’t made at all. We only got a bag with some fresh towels. It is mentioned that rooms are cleaned every three nights but we still expected a bit more. Overall a very nice hotel.”

”This place was incredibly Japanese. If you want a truly traditional Japanese experience this is the place for you. The multi-course breakfasts and dinner were a work of art (if you love Japanese food). The onsen experience is incredible. Highly recommended.”
