”The views from our room were spectacular. The staff were very friendly. Lots of free amenities for the guests. The only draw back was that they did not have options for vegetarian. If you have specific dietary restrictions please let them know in advance so they can accommodate. When I booked the hotel there was no option for me to mention’s dietary restrictions. ”

”We stayed in the room with the open air bath and it was a beautiful room. The open air bath was worth it with a view of the famous gate. The staff was amazing and so respectful. The location was close to the shrine and shops and not far from the rope pull to go to top of mountain. Highly recommend this hotel! ”

”Extremely convenient location across from the JR Ferry terminal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to our 2 year old. The room and bath were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great and the free drinks/treats in the lobby were a nice addition”

”We really enjoyed the Japanese-style room with tatami and futons - something very different from the western-style rooms we had stayed at otherwise. Everything was clean and well taken care of, albeit a little dated. Both the breakfast and dinner were an experience with a plethora of dishes we would normally never come across. ”We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is in a great location. The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Unlimited wine at night with all day provided snacks was a cherry on the top. I would recommend it to anyone to stay there who would plan an overnight stay on the island. ”Unique experience! Single occupancy hotel that is more of a ryokan on a quaint street. The owner/chef speaks little English but his hospitality shined through his actions. The lodging above the small sushi restaurant is simple (2 bedrooms with futon beds), but with a modern bathroom and all very clean. The highlight of the stay was the spectacular ~16 course sushi omakase.”
